Why there is no skydiving over Prague

Prague sits under the busy airspace of Václav Havel Airport, so the whole city is a no-jump zone. Offers of “skydiving in Prague” take you to an airfield outside the city. With JUMP-TANDEM that is Příbram, south-west of Prague, a quiet airfield where we jump every week of the season.

Your day, step by step

  1. Pick-up in Prague, or arrive at the airfield 45 minutes before your jump.
  2. About 20 minutes of ground briefing with your instructor. We lend you a jumpsuit and goggles.
  3. A 20-minute scenic climb to 4,200 m.
  4. About a minute of freefall, the canopy opens at 1,500 m, and you fly under it for about 7 minutes. You can try steering it yourself.
  5. A soft landing on the airfield, your video and photos within 5 minutes, and back to Prague.

Stag dos and groups

A tandem skydive is one of the adrenaline activities near Prague that a whole group can do in one afternoon, with no training. Everyone jumps with their own instructor, our aircraft take larger groups, and the friends who stay on the ground watch the landing from the airfield. Call +420 724 002 001 before you book a big group.
